The times they are a changing

The cool morning air, the blanket of fog that lingers longer over the valleys, the dew on the grass in the early morning, the mums starting to bloom, the trees starting to show more and more red, the times they are a changing!

My bell-weather tree, one of the first trees in town to start turning red,  is starting to show it's fall dress telling me that fall is just around the corner.  I was out at dusk this week and the spinner falls are starting to tail off although the fish are still interested in isonychia.  Took a rainbow and a brown and missed three others in the late hours.  The changing of the seasons reminds me there is a purpose for every season of life

God bless

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.  Ecclesiates 3:1-8

  1. There has definitely been a feeling of "change" in the air. Personally, I'm looking forward to the fall.
