New location

Just a quick hello!  We are settling in to our new home in Hopkinton MA.  I haven't found my fishing and tying stuff yet but in time.  Right now there are more important matters to address, like where is my winter coat!  It may be a while, but hope to be out fishing again, exploring this new part of New England...

  1. Welcome back Mark. Take your time, no need to rush. I lost a personal letter from Chauncey K. Lively, regarding fly tying, years ago, during a move. Happy holidays. As we say in my tradition( Russian Orthodox) "Many years".

  3. Well Mark the hard part of your move is completed. Now the fun begins.
Like I said before you have some great fishing destinations close to you and I'm certain you'll find them.
A great fly shop is close...Bears Den in Taunton.

    1. Alan - thanks very much. I bought an inexpensive desk on Craig's list today and I am looking forward to getting my new tying workspace set up. I have been doing some research on fishing areas here and there. I will have to check out Bear's Den! One of your small stream favorites is about an hour away. We will have to meet up there sometime!

  4. That's awesome Mark! I've been deer hunting near one of the streams I told you about, it's got a lot of water this fall! Welcome to MA.
