Scenes from Utah

My wife and I spent a few days visiting our daughter and son-in-law in UT.  Our daughter had a few days off from work and we hiked together around Salt Lake City and in the Wasatch and Lone Peak Wildernesses.  We were humbled at the vastness and glory of God's creation!

  1. Beautiful pics Mark. TY for sharing. I always considered "the garden of eden" as a metaphor. The "garden" is in fact, the entire world.

    1. John - there is some amazing beauty all across this country and the world. I am thankful for the opportunity to experience a small slice of it first hand for a few days!

    1. thanks Walt - there is a lot of wilderness to explore out there. We stayed close to Salt Lake this trip but there are other places to explore within a day's drive that we will have to visit in the future.

  5. Great pics. I miss UT. I fished there a few years ago on the Provo, Weber and in Ogden canyon. One of my best vacations ever.

  6. Feather Chucker - it is an amazing place! I fished the Provo years ago in march and had an amazing time fishing in the early morning to fish rising to midges and catching some hefty browns and bows nymphing. That was my first experience in the Wasatch and it's heartening to see my daughter enjoying it as much as I did back then.
